The Enoki mushroom (also known as Enokitake), are native to China, Japan and Korea and well loved for their medicinal properties.

Enoki mushrooms have been praised by physicians for their health advantages and they are still used widely today in Asian herbal remedies for cancer patients.
The mushrooms have many immune enhancing qualities and are full of antioxidants, meaning they have been used for hundreds of years in traditional medicines to help in reducing cholesterol and blood pressure levels, treating stomach and liver ailments and even to help prevent allergies such as asthma and eczema.
